SET DESIGNER / COSTUME DESIGNER / MEDIA ARTIST

Tsveta Bogdanova is professional set designer, costume maker and multimedia artist working as freelancer and based in Sofia [BG].

She creates designs and projection mappings for various scenic productions. Her projects for opera, ballet and drama theatre can be seen on main Bulgarian stages such as : National opera and ballet, IVAN VAZOV National Theater, SALZA I SMIAH Theater, #199 Theater, SOFIA Municipal Theater, Ruse Opera and more.

Tsveta is graduated in DIGITAL ARTS [MA] and SCENOGRAPHY [BA] from National Academy of Arts - Sofia, she has specialized in STAGE DESIGN FOR OPERA from ROYAL WELSH COLLEGE OF MUSIC AND DRAMA - Cardiff [UK].

In 2011 she founds ARTNOMADIKA - digital media art collaboration lab. She is also a member of VIA NEGATIVA Alternative Theatre Studio.

As independent artist Tsveta is interested in making of motion animations,  interactive and AV installation art. By now, her works take part in international exhibitions and festivals for new media art and theatre in Bulgaria, RWCMD, Cardiff [UK], PRAGUE QUADRENNIAL, Prague [Check Republic] and IDScenes Lab, Montpellier [France].
